Dresden, Germany
My good friend Jayesh, from London, was in Dresden for a business meeting and was able to take some vacation time at the end of it. We met up with him on Saturday and brought him back to our place on Sunday.
I left all the details up to Jack since he likes to do the last minute stuff. He found a very good place through booking.com, called the
Aparthotel Am Schloss.

Once we got settled into the hotel, we met up with Jay, had dinner and walked around the city, stopping occasionally to have a drink.
One of the things that was most impact-full for me in Dresden, was the absolute beauty of it all. There are very old buildings that have been reconstructed since Dresden was decimated in WWII. The architecture is really something to behold.

I must say, this place was pretty cool. One of our last stops was The Red Rooster. It had great beer but a very unique atmosphere. People just seemed happier being in there. The servers were also beyond wonderful. We had our dog with us and I knew it was time for Killian to eat but she wasn't eating the food I brought her. I asked to buy some uncooked meat and they brought out water and a huge plate of meat for her, no charge! They were so kind!

The next day we packed up, had breakfast and headed home for a week of relaxing with Jay for his German vacation!
